WHO THE FUCK IS WORRY BLAST?
A rhythm section that traces an electric highway, guitars that streak stormy skies with their discharges, a voice like sandpaper... A grandmother's recipe, the one that has made hard rock a monument in the musical field for decades and that a young Swiss group applies with bluffing know-how.
Worry Blast is the name of this highly effective quintet, which released a gritty debut album in 2013, titled "Break Out From Hell." The title sounds like it came straight out of the early eighties, before lacquered hair and Lycra tights transformed bands of that genre into pathetic balloons. Formed in 2010, Worry Blast quickly carved out a unique niche for itself on the Swiss and international music scene , thanks to its raw and uncompromising live performances.

After opening for Scorpions, Gotthard, and Johnny Hallyday in 2015, Worry Blast released a new album , "Hit The Gas," in early 2016, which they described as a major return to the roots of contemporary rock 'n' roll . Distributed worldwide, this latest album was very successful and was promoted with nearly 50 concerts across Europe, including a tour with the American band Nashville Pussy . The band also secured opening slots for acts such as Nazareth and Status Quo , as well as a Spanish tour with the Swedish band Bonafide .
The band's third album , in production since April, was released to the public in January 2018. This album is even more powerful than anything the group has created so far! A dozen tour dates followed, and the band is now fully engaged in promoting the album live .
Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic slowed the group's progress and forced the members to take a break for a while. Since then, the band has performed on several local stages, including a performance on the main stage at Rock'Oz in 2022 with Status Quo , as well as several other shows in the region. Robin Ruston joined the band following Allan Claret's departure at the end of 2024. He stepped up and proved to be a worthy addition.
A burst of raw energy supported by the powerful rhythm section of the Collaud brothers: Lucas on drums and Dann on bass. Mat Petrucci, founding member, singer and rhythm guitarist for over 15 years, is leaving the band in 2025, and that's when Pedro Veiga takes over on vocals, with his typical rock classics sound, and Jérémie Buro on rhythm guitar, two long-time colleagues who have already graced many stages together in other projects.
The 5 friends are restarting the locomotive at full speed and working hard on a 4th opus which should be released at the end of 2026, but until then they are already ready to bring you your daily dose of Hard Rock, a recipe that has already proven itself for more than 15 years !
